The Model 136 Monitor features an RS-232 serial communication port. By connecting the cable between the Model 136 Monitor and your personal computer, it is possible to retrieve the stored process data. Using an appropriate terminal program, the stored process data is downloaded and saved as an ascii text file which can be either read directly or imported to a spreadsheet program. A Windows Excel template file is supplied which reads the imported text file data and generates a process data report.
