Advanced Features:

• Acid Etchant Control can control etchant density to ±0.1 degrees Baume or ±0.001g/ml. Precision feed and bleed replenishment keeps the density constant and permits the stripping process to be optimized at fixed conveyor speeds, increasing repeatability, eliminating rework, and lowering the cost of solution drag out. Eliminating batch solution dump and refill reduces labor costs, machine down time, and process variability.
• The Model 123 provides digital TTL level information about the etching process to the user's process PLC via 11-conductor cable. Available signals include: replenisher pumps(s) on/off, high and low limit, and solution density as read by the hydrometer float in 0.1degrees Baume (0.001g/ml) steps up to ±1.9 degrees Baume (±0.019g/ml) from the set point. This set point is determined by a mechanical balance beam system and therefore is not subject to software glitches that could cause loss of calibration.
• Depending on the PLC available, various types of data display modes can be generated by writing the appropriate code. Listed below are three suggested data display modes.
