Adjustable Control Point

The control point is determined by a moveable balance weight on a mechanical beam system. The control point value can be changed by moving the weight along the beam. Moving the weight one inch toward the optical encoder lowers the set point about 3 degrees Baume. Since the control point is set mechanically, it is not subject to electronic glitches that could cause loss of calibration.

The Model 130, 131, 140, and 141 systems are capable of maintaining pump control and thus maintaining solution density as long as the Control/Monitor is in the AUTO mode. Control is independent of display and alarm settings.
