The Model 132 LED digital display provides the operator with the deviation in degrees Baume from the process control point. A quick glance at the display gives the operator an immediate process precision indication. A plus/minus sign indicates whether the density is above (+), or below (–) the process control point. Another feature of the plus/minus sign is that is also serves as indication of whether the replenisher pump(s) should be powered. Any time the + sign is displayed lets the operator know that the control is calling for the pump to be on. When the hydrometer float moves out of range, either above or below the control point, the LED display blanks to alert the operator that the density has gone beyond the control's measurement range. The + or – sign remains displayed to indicate the direction of the out of range condition.
